Description
Mud wall, brick and stone Church.
Nowadays, it is in ruins. Some authors believe this is the oldest church in Tordesillas. Although it dates from the IXth and Xth centuries, there are not relics belonging to that age among the surviving remains. It dates back to the Middle Ages. However, the church underwent alterations in the XVIth century.
The construction was made up of an only nave divided into two parts that was covered with wooden roofing (it disappeared). On the side of the Epistle, the rectangular ground plan vestry was opened. Outside, the church shows two porches. The small one's arch, placed on the side of the Gospel, is made up of an exact semicircle. On the other hand, the main porch is on the side of the Epistle. Its most important features are the big keystones and gothic columns.
